In the frames of the project “Eco gardens in our kindergartens” from 8^th to 12^th of April 2019 in Kochani was held the first from the three planned short-term training’s with representatives from Ludbreg – Republic of Croatia, Pazardzik – Republic of Bulgaria and Kochani – Republic of North Macedonia.

First short-term training took place in Kochani, North Macedonia, in April 2018 and was organized by public utility Vodovod as a 4-days training.

The activities carried out were as follows:

• Environmental education for pre-school children (solid waste management, utilization of RES, environment protection)
• Waste selection & Recycling- experience, challenges and best practices
• Composting procedure and establishing of eco-gardens – theoretical approach and practical on-site training
• Development of own age appropriate educational approaches to pre-school children (joint team work on development of teaching materials which will be part of Manual)
